And It's Not Even Noon!!

On my list of things to do was to make the mess on the side of my refrigerator disappear. So what use to look like this.....

Now looks like this....
I used some cork tiles from target, cut them down to fit, and stuck them to inside of our cabinet door, and now we have instant organization!

So Fresh N' So Clean

We just spent some time at the U Do It Dog Wash. Roscoe enjoyed a shampoo, deep conditioner, blueberry face wash, a tooth brushing, and a blow dry. Oh, and he got his nails clipped, the person working there does that for you. The dog wash is right across the street from us, so it is very convenient. It is so nice that I don't have a big mess in the bathroom to clean up now. He also got a complimentary bandanna!

Crown

We didn't get to the shutters this weekend, but we did get the crown on the cabinets. Yay! Thanks to our good friend Aaron our cabinets finally look complete. Sort of.... I still have to caulk and paint it.

Breaking Out the Paint Brushes

I did some painting today. Outside... In the HORRIBLE heat....
Can you tell what I was painting?

Awhile back I found some really great shutters at the Habitat for Humanity store. They are very nice quality, and VERY heavy. And, it only cost me $20 for four of them. Well today they went from dark gray green to black.
I had to improvise a little today. See, nothing is easy around here. Especially when we don't have any of the proper tools necessary. No sawhorse...... No problem!

I know what everyone is thinking....... And yes, I'm a genius. I'm not going to show the finished product until they are on the house. So hoping that all goes well this weekend, I should have "after" pictures to show you.

Now You See It......

Now you don't......

Bye bye Crape Myrtles! I am sad to see them go, but it had to happen. They are pretty when they bloom, but they are super ugly for most of the year. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to plant, not one, but two of them directly in front of this tiny house obviously didn't think it through.
