Looks Like We Have Another Project On Our Hands

This time it's outside! Yay! Can we get some curb appeal around here???

We will be replacing this wall....

With these!!!

We have no idea what we are doing. But hopefully with the help of my amazing, handy, and handsome brother Jeremy, we will be able to figure it out.

I'm A Very Bad Blogger.....

I am very sorry for not posting these pictures sooner. I have been finished with the tile for a while now. Since then not much has changed. I painted the walls a lighter color, it really helped pull things together.

There are still some things I would like to change. Like, this light for instance. It just isn't fitting in with the new look of the kitchen.

I am looking for something with a more simple and classic look. Like these.......

Can you see where I'm going with this? Wouldn't one of these lights look so much better?!

Fun At Navy Pier

After we visited the aquarium we walked around the city for awhile and ended up at Navy Pier. We took a ride on the ferris wheel and had some fun with a couple fun house mirrors. It was a long walk to the end of the pier, but it was worth it.

The REALLY tall black building in the photo below is the John Hancock.

Seagulls in Chicago?!!

Shedd Aquarium

On our second day in Chicago we visited Shedd Aquarium. It wasn't as AMAZING as I expected it to be, but it was still pretty cool. My favorite parts were the Caribbean Reef, the Beluga Whales, and the dolphins. The videos at the bottom are of the dolphins playing and the Caribbean Reef.

Chicago

We arrived around 1 o'clock on Sunday. So, we still had most of the day to explore the city. The first place we went..... Best Buy, yeah that's right. I left the memory card in the printer, oh well. So, armed with my new memory card we walked a few feet and went to the John Hancock Observatory. Very cool, and informational. There was a multimedia tour with the voice of David Schwimmer, who is from Chicago. We had awesome views of the city.

I could almost touch the clouds! Not really, but almost....

Navy Pier, we walked all the way down that and all the way back up.

View of the city

A view of the beach and Lakeshore Drive.

I was standing at the very bottom of the building.

A Day At The Farm

We had a great day at Purina Farms today. The weather was PERFECT!!! My favorite part was petting the little piglets!
